Survey report

This is a report of the results of the survey run by The Indexer from 7-30 November 2017. The object of the survey was to canvas views on what subscribers and potential subscribers wanted of the journal.

The report is in two parts:

For a journal with a print run of just 700 copies there was a healthy return of 237. Many thanks to all of you who took the time and trouble to complete the survey, and for all your comments.

The feedback was essentially positive with very little negative comment. Inevitably when it came to what people wanted and did not want, the wants and don't wants tended to cancel one another out but they are all grist to our mill. Some of the suggestions were already on our to-do list, some have been tried and found not to work, others are clearly worth thinking or re-thinking about. This we will be doing in the coming months.
